Crane School of Music Welcomes Guest Artist Raehann Bryce-Davis for Recital

SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music Hosts Mezzo-Soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis for Recital Alongside Jeanne-Minette Cilliers, Piano 

Mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis (left) will perform in recital at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music alongside Jeanne-Minette Cilliers (right), on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7:30 p.m., in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater. The performance will also stream live at potsdam.edu/cranelive.

SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will welcome guest artist Raehann Bryce-Davis, mezzo-soprano, for a performance alongside her longtime collaborator, Jeanne-Minette Cilliers, on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7:30 p.m., in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater. 

Hailed as “one of the best mezzos of this generation,” Raehann Bryce-Davis will visit Crane join her regular recital partner, Crane Assistant  Professor of Vocal Coaching and Opera Jeanne-Minette Cilliers, for a special performance. As a duo, they have performed across the U.S. and Europe to critical acclaim, including at the Kennedy Center and San Francisco Performances, among others. 

Bryce-Davis and Cilliers will present a diverse program, opening with turn-of-the-century works by Amy Beach and Alban Berg, followed by contemporary works by Melissa Dunphy, Jake Landau, Maria Thompson Corley, Timothy Amukele and Andrew Marshall. 

This concert is free, and the public is invited to attend.
