Residential Life is accepting on-line applications for a for part-time, 10-month, live-in Graduate Assistant position(s) available July 31, 2017. Position reports to the Area Coordinator and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with the overall administrative and operational functions of a residential area, programming and community building, facility maintenance. Position includes participation in departmental committees, planning and decision-making.
Qualification requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and student leadership experience. Previous experience in Residence Life is strongly preferred. Other essential qualities include excellent administrative, communication, leadership, decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously in a team atmosphere. In addition, this position will be expected to possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues. The successful candidate must be matriculated into a graduate degree program.
Compensation includes a stipend, tuition assistance, on campus furnished apartment, and partial college meal plan.
