Survivor Speaks “What’s in Your Suitcase?”
Tuesday, April 17 in Bowman South MPR at 8 p.m. - Residence Hall Director Jordan Duke, Presenter 

We all carry around an invisible suitcase with us. Would you treat someone differently if you knew what they were carrying around in their invisible suitcase? Come hear a survivor of college sexual assault share her story, and find out how you could help someone carry their invisible suitcase.

Clothesline Project
Wednesday, April 18 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge 

Renewal House invites faculty, staff, students, and community members to participate in the making of a shirt to represent your own message of violence or a message of support.  The Clothesline Project is a visual display dedicated to raising awareness to the reality of sexual violence, dating violence, and domestic violence in our society.

Around the World for Yeardley Walk/Run
Wednesday, April 25 at 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Register at Minerva Statue and then walk the Academic Quad; Later that day at 4:15 p.m. a 5k Fun Run/Walk will begin at Maxcy. 

Come show your support for healthy relationships by joining SUNY campuses around the State walk/run around the world in honor of Yeardley Love and other victims of relationship abuse.  SUNY and the One Love Foundation will embark on a goal of reaching 50 Million Yards for Yeardley to raise awareness on SUNY campuses about relationship abuse. SUNY Potsdam Athletics needs your help in reaching our campus goal of 1.5 million yards! Register at Minerva Statue to record your yards!  Participants in the 5K portion will receive a One Love t-shirt.

Take Back The Night
Friday, April 27 at 6 p.m. (Location TBD) for Program; Outdoor walk will begin at approximately 6:45/7 p.m.

Take Back the Night is an international event with the mission of ending sexual, relationship, and domestic violence in all forms.
