North Country Migrant Education Program Project Assistant Vacancy

The Research Foundation for SUNY, a private not-for-profit corporation, is seeking a Project Assistant for the North Country Migrant Education Program Office. NCMEP is dedicated to helping families in the North Country receive services that will enable their children to achieve academic success. 

Responsibilities include maintaining the budget, processing timesheets and travel vouchers, organizing and attending field trips and other special events, ability to juggle multiple projects, and assisting the director with all program related activities. The qualified candidate must have strong organizational skills, proven time management skills, and exceptional people skills both over the phone and in person. The position demands a professional that is able to multitask.  Salary is $43,065/year. 

Requirements:  Bachelor’s required or a combination of education/5+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Project Assistant, demonstrated proficiency using the following programs on MAC:  Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; ability to write, speak, and interact clearly and professionally; and can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity.
