The Offices of Campus Life and Annual Giving are hard at work planning for this year’s Emerging Leaders program. The program provides students with an opportunity for involvement throughout their time at Potsdam and as such is an excellent way for students to meet new people, develop their leadership skills, and network with student leaders, faculty/staff and alumni.
The goal of Emerging Leaders is to provide students who have demonstrated strong leadership potential with an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and help promote student giving and volunteerism here at SUNY Potsdam.
Since it is impossible for the offices to find every student who might be a good fit for this program, they are asking for your help in identifying potential candidates. They would appreciate it if you could send them the name(s) of any students you feel could potentially excel as leaders here at SUNY Potsdam and/or who are already strong leaders on campus that you believe would be interested in becoming Emerging Leaders. They will then send the student(s) a letter, letting them know that you nominated them and invite them to apply for consideration.
