SUNY Potsdam College Council Holds First Meeting of 2026-27 Academic Year
The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its first meeting of the 2025-26 academic year on Friday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m., in the Raymond Hall eighth floor dining room.
The meeting will be open to the public, and will stream live online via Teams. A link will be available on the College Council website prior to the meeting.
College Council Chair June O'Neill (Hon. '99) will open the meeting. The Council will consider two resolutions to name several campus spaces in honor of worthy individuals. They will also hear presentations on PLACE (Public Learning, Arts and Community Engagement), the Potsdam@RCF higher education initiative at Riverview Correctional Facility and the public launch of SUNY Potsdam’s next comprehensive campaign, Deeply Rooted, Future Focused.
SUNY President Dr. Suzanne R. Smith will also report to the Council, and division heads and representatives from across campus will be available to take questions on their submitted reports to the board.
The next meeting will be held on Dec. 11.
