SUNY Potsdam Offers Flexible Campus Visit Options Throughout Summer Season

SUNY Potsdam’s Office of Admissions is proud to announce upcoming seasonal opportunities for prospective students and their families to experience campus life at their own pace.
“We know that choosing a college is a big decision, and we want to make it as easy and welcoming as possible,” said Director of Admissions Terry Francis ’97 & ’00. “Our Summer Visit Days and Saturday Visits are designed to give students and their families a real sense of what it’s like to be part of our community—whether they’re just starting their college search or preparing to join us in the fall.”
Summer Visit Days are back again this year, helping prospective students get ahead of their college search and accepted students to work through their new student checklist ahead of joining campus. For visitors’ convenience, there are both morning and afternoon sessions available on each of the Summer Visit Days, as follows:
- Wednesday, July 9: 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
- Thursday, July 24: 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 4: 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 19: 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
Can’t make it to campus during the week? SUNY Potsdam is also offering Saturday Visit Days this year, with all of the same tour opportunities, at a weekend pace. The visits will be held on:
- Saturday, June 28: 10 a.m.
- Saturday, July 12: 10 a.m.
- Saturday, July 26: 10 a.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 16: 10 a.m.
Both events will include brief presentations from the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, a panel discussion featuring current students, and a campus tour, including an option to visit The Crane School of Music.
Registration for both events is free. To learn more about other upcoming visit opportunities, visit www.potsdam.edu/visit.
