  College Unlimited at SUNY Potsdam, or “CUSP”, is a formal early entrance program targeted at advanced high school students entering their junior or senior year who wish to complete their remaining high school graduation requirements at SUNY Potsdam.

Morgan Sychtysz '20

Colorful large-scale oil paintings of strawberries, kiwis, lemons and blueberries— the brainchild of SUNY Potsdam senior Morgan Sychtysz ’20—are currently hanging on the walls of the Rockefeller Institute of Government in Albany. The year-long exhibit features the work of 16 students and faculty from eight schools within the SUNY system, including SUNY Potsdam’s own Sychtysz, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a certificate in art education and minor in art history.

Commencement Logistics

Commencement will be held outdoors on Saturday, May 17 at 10:15 a.m., in the Academic Quad in front of Satterlee Hall. Please be prepared for the weather (hint: bring rain jackets and umbrellas).Note (In case of Severe or Extreme Weather): A decision to move the ceremony inside will be made no later than 6 a.m. on Saturday only if extreme weather conditions are forecast (lightning, freezing temperatures, etc).

Laptop Campus Model Policy

In a commitment to enhance fiscal responsibility and streamline operations, SUNY Potsdam has transitioned to a laptop campus model. This initiative aims to equip employees with devices for convenient access to files and data, facilitating instruction, meetings, and other campus operations. Drawing from lessons learned during the COVID Pandemic and subsequent campus shutdown, it is imperative to ensure the seamless transition to remote operations and instruction.
