As Paul Dougall ’20 feverishly scribbles advanced mathematical definitions and proofs across a chalkboard, he presents his work and fields questions from three faculty members in the College’s Department of Mathematics. The weekly seminar is part of his capstone project for the BA / MA program in mathematics—a unique opportunity for highly motivated students to graduate with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics simultaneously.

Paying Your Fees & Understanding Your Student Bill The Office of Student Accounts, 4th floor Raymond Hall, (telephone 315-267-2137) is responsible for student account billing.

Payments can be made online via the Transact e-bill portal. Google Pay, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted, as well as use of bank debit card. You will receive an email, to your personal account you provided when you signed up for the course(s) you wish to take, that will provide you with your registration fee amount, your Potsdam ID number and the term to use for payment purposes. 

 

Payments for International StudentsSUNY Potsdam has three options allowing students to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency.

PCS Audit/Inventory ProcessThe Property Control Coordinator will conduct an annual physical inventory of assets with a threshold of $1000 or more. This inventory will be coordinated with the Department’s Equipment Coordinator. Upon completion of the physical inventory, each department within the building will receive a report of any assets not located.

PCS Numbers/Computer Decal Numbers All networked electronic devices connected to the SUNY Potsdam computer network require a unique identifying number. These devices commonly are desktop, laptop, and handheld computers, as well as printers.

Peer Counselors (PCs) are paraprofessionals who work with students in need of support, under close supervision of licensed professional counselors. They adhere to the same confidentiality policies as professional counselors. Peer Counselors are available during variable hours, Monday-Friday, while classes are in session. They can offer prompt and helpful support to fellow students.
