Graduate Assistant Vacancy in Residential Life Department

Residential Life is accepting on-line applications for a 10-month, optional live-on, temporary/part-time, Graduate Assistant (GA) to begin August 3, 2020, who will report to the Assistant Director (AD) and will serve as an integral member of the department.

SUNY Potsdam Student Honored with University Police Criminal Justice Award

SUNY Potsdam student Lia Clemons ’22 of Plattsburgh, N.Y., was recently recognized with the 2021 University Police Criminal Justice Award.  The University Police Criminal Justice Award was established in 2004 by an initial gift from Chief Barry J. McDermott of SUNY Potsdam's University Police. The award provides financial assistance to a rising junior or senior in good academic standing majoring in criminal justice studies at SUNY Potsdam. Preference is given to students enrolled in the College's Law Enforcement Training Institute. 

Crane School of Music & Clarkson University Physical Therapy Department Collaborate on Wellness

Clarkson University Doctor of Physical Therapy students and Crane School of Music student musicians are coming together on a common topic: health promotion and wellness. Second-year students in Clarkson‘s physical therapy (PT) program are currently in a population health course focusing on the role physical therapists play in health promotion and wellness in the community.  

SUNY Potsdam Business Professor Forms Educational Partnership with University in Portugal

Dr. Gregory Gardner, a professor in SUNY Potsdam’s Department of Business Administration, has established an academic partnership with the University of Portucalense (UPT) in Porto, Portugal. As part of the exchange, three business students will be able to study at UPT in Portugal next fall with all travel, room and board expenses paid for through a European Union Erasmus Programme grant. The grant-funded exchange will also allow three UPT students to study at SUNY Potsdam.

PACES Annual Spring Luncheon Buffet

PACES' Spring Luncheon Buffet will be held on Wednesday, April 24 from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in Thatcher Dining Hall. The cost is $12.50 plus tax: Bear, FSP, cash & credit card. Students: $10 flex. Dexter's will be closed on this day.  Menu:
