Sign into office.com with your school email address.
When you are on the “Enter password” page click “Forgot my password”
On the “Get back into your account” page, please fill out your email address and enter the characters you see in the picture. These characters are case sensitive.
You will be required to fill out 2 verification methods. The methods consist of Alternate Email, Txt (Mobile Phone), Call (Mobile Phone), Office Phone, Security Questions, Approval Notifications, and Authenticator App.
After filling out the verification methods you will be prompted to enter a new password and confirm the new password.
Note: Please select a password that is different than any password you have previously used and the password must be a minimum length of 8 characters and not longer than 32 characters and MUST contain a minimum of 1 lowercase letter, 1 upper case letter, 1 number and 1 special character (!@#$%^&*?_-+=).
Once you receive the “Your password has been reset” message, go back to office.com and sign back into your account with your new password.
If you are still unable to log into your account after following these steps:
For On-Campus users: You can have your password reset by going to one of 2 places on SUNY Potsdam’s campus and presenting a valid photo identification card (a SUNY Potsdam photo ID, a driver's license or state-issued ID card with photo, or a passport) during their hours of operation (pending the availability of designated staff):
