2026–2029 Self-Study
Help Shape Our Work
We invite faculty and staff to volunteer as members of the Working Groups that will lead SUNY Potsdam’s Middle States reaccreditation Self-Study. If you are interested in participating, please complete the form below to indicate your interest. Serving on a Working Group is a unique, collaborative leadership opportunity to “look under the hood” and help assess how well we meet the Middle States Standards for Accreditation. Working Groups will meet regularly from spring 2027 to spring 2029.

A Three-Year Process
Over the next three years, SUNY Potsdam will engage in a coordinated process of self-reflection and evidence review in preparation for the MSCHE evaluation. The Steering Committee and Working Groups will examine the five standards, gather and analyze institutional evidence, and develop findings for the Self-Study Report. The process will also include opportunities for campus input and review as the report is developed and refined. The completed Self-Study Report will be submitted to MSCHE in advance of the 2029 evaluation.
