The mission of the Academic Advising Office at SUNY Potsdam is to foster dynamic and interactive relationships between advisors and advisees.
The Academic Advising Offices aims to help students:
- successfully negotiate the academic requirements of the college,
- take advantage of the opportunities offered at the college, both inside and outside the classroom, and
- develop the skills necessary to cope with, thrive in and provide leadership in our complex, ambiguous and mutable world.
Faculty/Staff are encouraged to refer students to the Academic Advising Office for all advising-related concerns.
