Campus Residency Requirement
In order to get the most out of the CUSP program, it is intended to be a residential program so that students can take full advantage of their floor-mates for academic help and socializing. There will be a number of programs planned for CUSP students that you won’t want to miss, however we understand that there are sometimes circumstances which may prohibit you from being able to live on campus. In those situations, a Housing Exemption/Release Form is required. The Housing Exemption/Release form can be found on the Housing Forms webpage.
The State University guidelines pertaining to campus residency mandate that “every student in full-time attendance at a state operated unit of the University, other than married or students residing with a parent or parents, shall be required to either live in a dormitory maintained by such unit or to have permission under such provisions as made thereof by the Chief Administrative Officer of such unit to live off campus...”.
Housing (aka "Room")
Our goal is to make you feel like a part of the family by providing a safe and nurturing environment which fosters creativity and self-exploration.
CUSP students will live together on one floor in Bowman Hall. The Bowman complex is our largest residential area on campus, housing approximately 700 students. It is divided into three separate residential areas, two of which (Bowman East and West) are home to our First Year Experience program which is reserved only for first-year students participating in one of these programs.

Meals (aka "Board")
PACES Dining Service accommodates a wide array of dietary needs, ensuring that options are available for vegetarians, vegans, and those with dairy or gluten restrictions.
