Add/Drop/Withdraw & Liability Schedule
Online Session (December 18, 2023 - January 12, 2024) 4-week term
- Last day to add a class – Tuesday, December 19
- Last day to drop a class – Tuesday, December 19
- Last day to withdraw from a class or elect S/U for a class – Friday, January 05
- Drop a class by December 19 – 0% liability
- Drop a class on or before December 24 – 50% liability
- After December 25 – 100% liability
SUNY Potsdam students can add courses through BearPAWS until 11:59 p.m. the day prior to the start date of a course. After that date, web registration will be turned off. To add a course after that time, submit an add/drop form found here.
SUNY Potsdam students may web drop their courses through their BearPAWS account until the date outlined for the winter session above. After this date, web registration will be turned off.
All course drop requests should be done through BearPAWS. If you are not able to web drop due to a hold on your account, you can submit the add/drop form found here. This form must be submitted by the drop dates outlined above.
Course Cancellation Policy
Courses with low enrollment may be canceled on or before December 6th. If your course is canceled, we will contact you at your campus email address. Please be sure to check your email on a regular basis.
