We offer free peer tutoring in any kind of writing.
Our peer tutors can work with you on planning out your ideas, expanding a draft, or looking over your final copy. The Writers' Block services are always completely free for SUNY Potsdam students.
Fall 2025
Writers' Block sessions are available in-person or virtually, 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Tutors are not available Monday & Wednesday from 3-6 p.m.)
Please book a session by filling out the Tutor Request form below. Please give us as many free times as possible.
Additional Information
We always want to book you with the best tutor for your assignment. Usually, all of our tutors can help with most 100- and 200-level classes (except Biology).
Cancellation policy: Tell us if your plans change. Late cancellation and no-shows can lead to a suspension of Writers' Block services for the current semester. (Our limit is two no-shows. Two late cancels equals one no-show.)
