What is EOP?
EOP is a New York State funded program designed to assist economically and educationally disadvantaged students with their college education. That is, it provides higher education opportunities to students who do not meet normally applied admission criteria, but who possess the potential for academic success
Will I attend regular classes?
Yes, you will be attending classes with the general student population at SUNY Potsdam. EOP enrollment does not limit your course options.
Will I be housed in a separate dorm?
No, you will be housed according to Freshman Interest Groups as is possible, along with all other entering freshmen.
Will EOP pay for everything I need?
No, you will receive assistance through EOP in purchasing books and supplies, but you will be responsible for other costs through your financial aid funds.
