If you have been admitted to SUNY Potsdam and have submitted your deposit, it's time to start preparing for the EOP Summer Program!

Each year, first-year students join us for a mandatory four-week intensive pre-college preparatory program. This program is required for completion before students can fully matriculate (enroll in and take classes) in the fall. Students would look to enroll in two courses taught by current Potsdam faculty. By the end of the summer program, students must obtain a minimum summer grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. In order for students to familiarize with the college community and to feel better equipped in the fall, workshops and activities will be implemented into the program to promote team building and success.

Students will reside in our residence halls and have access to our dining service, PACES. Students will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with their assigned EOP counselor, who will continue to serve as a resource during their academic year.

Participants accepted into the program will be contacted mid-June by an EOP counselor to confirm your attendance. If you don't hear from someone by June 29th, please contact the EOP office at: or (315) 267-2382.
