SUNY Potsdam Honors 27 College Retirees

The State University of New York at Potsdam Thanks 27 Employees for Years of Service to the College, Upon Their Retirements 

SUNY Potsdam recently honored 27 longtime employees who retired during the 2021-22 academic year. Together, the faculty and staff members had collectively dedicated an incredible 622 years of service to the institution throughout their careers. 

It is our honor to recognize such dedicated, hard-working faculty and staff, who have collectively devoted centuries of service to SUNY Potsdam. Their commitment to our students and to our mission have been unwavering, and we congratulate them as they close out their careers at the College,” said Officer-in-Charge Dr. Philip T. Neisser ’79.

  • Richard Cayward, Libraries: 22 years of service 

  • Carolyn Corcoran, Financial Aid: 22 years of service 

  • Angela Donah, Libraries: 31 years of service 

  • David Durgan, Custodial Services: 32 years of service 

  • Kathleen Felix, University Police: 24 years of service 

  • Jan Felt, Registar: 27 years of service 

  • Marianne Hebert, Libraries: 20 years of service 

  • Richard Henry, English and Communication: 24 years of service 

  • Maria Hepel, Chemistry: 35 years of service 

  • Sarah Hersh, Crane School of Music: 26 years of service 

  • David Kistler, Business Administration: 20 years of service 

  • Christopher Lanz, Computer Science: 22 years of service 

  • Joanne MacDonald, Custodial Services: 13 years of service 

  • Patricia Martin, Financial Aid: 13 years of service 

  • Lane Miller, Crane School of Music: 19 years of service 

  • Anjali Misra, Advanced Studies in Education: 32 years of service 

  • Susan Novak, English and Communication: 10 years of service
