College in High School Course Approval Process

Each high school should select a primary contact person (typically a staff member from Guidance) who will work directly with the College in High School Coordinator. This liaison and the CHS coordinator will confirm all information associated with each course being offered at their location.

Course proposals are reviewed by the appropriate academic departments at SUNY Potsdam and you may be contacted for additional information by the department chair. Course proposals are evaluated for their academic rigor and adherence to the course student learning outcomes determined by the department.
