Cristina Jiménez ’20 moved to the United States with her mother when she was just 12 years old. Although she had spoken with her father from her childhood home in Ecuador many times before, she had never seen him face-to-face. That all changed when she picked up her roots and relocated to Long Island, N.Y. “It was hard at the beginning, especially with the language. My dad was here (in the U.S.) and I had never met him before—it was really nice to just see him for the first time, it was very emotional,” Jiménez said.

Faculty Guide to Cross Registration
Cross-registration is an opportunity open to students, faculty and staff of the member institutions of the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley. The program makes it possible for any matriculated full-time student or full-time staff member at one of the four colleges of the consortium to enroll in a course offered by another institution, improving the depth and variety of the academic program available in the North Country. There is no charge to cross-register for courses as long as the individual meets the eligibility requirements.

CTS often has users contacting us that they receive email, apparently from them, but contains spam. This is a common spammer tactic called "e-mail spoofing" and is an attempt to use a legitimate e-mail address to fool anti-spam measures.
