As a child of deaf adults, Julita Nunez ’24 was born into two worlds—One where sign language formed the bonds of communication between her and her parents, and the other outside of the home where she used her voice to connect with friends and teachers at school.

Preference is given to transfer students with junior standing, but others may qualify. Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Clarence Stephens, Sr.
Dr. Clarence Stephens, Sr. was the ninth African American to have earned a Ph.D. in mathematics. He was chair of the SUNY Potsdam Mathematics department from 1969-1987. His legacy is known as the Morgan-Potsdam model of Mathematical-Education.
