The College is seeking two financial professionals to join the Business Affairs team as a Financial Analyst.

The College is accepting on-line applications for a Director of Business Affairs who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Business Affairs Office and aiding to frame and implement the campus financial stability plan. In addition, this position will support the campus in line with the directives and guidance provided by the College President/Officer-in-Charge and/or his or her designees.

Following a national search, SUNY Potsdam has named David Davin as the institution’s vice president for college advancement and executive director of the Potsdam College Foundation. 

SUNY Potsdam will bring together alumni, students, faculty, staff and parents for the College’s first-ever Day of Service—uniting campus community members through volunteerism and Potsdam Pride, on Saturday, Oct. 21.

From classic to contemporary, the twelfth season of The Met: Live in HD will bring 10 exciting productions from the Metropolitan Opera to the movie screen in Potsdam again in 2017-18.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate in The Days of Reflection: Education for Racial Equity and Justice. The program will run on Zoom from Monday, Oct. 19 through Thursday, Oct. 22.

Seven months ago, the world as we knew it took a radical turn. Initially transfixed by the events, cellist Marie-Élaine Gagnon emerged from her artistic torpor and reached out to an old friend, Johann Sebastien Bach’s “Six Suites for Solo Cello.” The Crane School of Music faculty member will now present the results in one of the most challenging and exciting solo recitals she has ever performed, which she is calling “The Sound of Isolation: Bach for One.”

The Office for Student Research and Creativity is now accepting applications for the Frederick B. Kilmer Student Research Apprenticeships for the Spring 2020 semester and for the Spring 2020-Fall 2020 semesters. Kilmer research apprenticeships financially support student/faculty collaboration in independent research projects ($400 for one-semester projects, $600 for two-semester projects).  The program’s goal is to foster student research across the campus in all fields of academic study.
