Crane Opera Ensemble to Present ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’ on Nov. 8 & 9
The award-winning Crane Opera Ensemble and Orchestra will present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s comic opera, “Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro)” at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music. The opera, sung in Italian with English supertitles projected over the stage, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8 and 9, in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.
SUNY Potsdam Hosts Digital Anthropology Film Festival on Nov. 9
SUNY Potsdam’s Department of Anthropology will present its second annual Digital Anthropology Film Festival on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., in the Proscenium Theater, located in the College’s Performing Arts Center. Numerous student films and vlogs will be premiered at the festival. Students in cultural anthropology and archaeology courses will have their works featured.
