Research and Sponsored Programs
The Research and Sponsored Programs Office [RSPO] is committed to contributing to the enrichment of the College faculty, staff, and student population by offering assistance to those seeking outside funding to support research and creative endeavors. RSPO provides faculty development events related to sponsored programs. The Office prepares external grant proposals and administers these awards. Additionally, the RSPO provides research compliance services for faculty, staff, and students.

Conference Center Reservation Request
Residence Life has a number of rooms available for guests of the college or the area to reserve for short term stays. Single and Double rooms are available. Rooms are located in Sisson Hall with a small overflow area in Draime Hall when necessary. All rooms are corridor style and share common hallway bathrooms.

Equipment
Responsibility For College EquipmentThe College is charged by State Law with responsibility for the safeguarding of State owned equipment on this campus.The Office of Physical Plant is responsible for the management of the Property Control System (equipment inventory).
Teaching Loads
It is the responsibility of the Deans in consultation with the Provost and department chairs to develop instructional programs which will result in reasonably equal service to students, the College and the State University of New York from each member of the teaching faculty. The policy of SUNY Potsdam on faculty utilization reflects the criteria of the Board of Trustees of the State University of New York for the evaluation of academic employees (Policies of the Board of Trustees, Article XII, Title A) and the practice which has been in effect for many years at the College.
MFA Security Key Policy
In response to the escalating threat of cyber-attacks and the imperative to bolster network security, in the Spring Semester of 2021, the President’s Council, mandated the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all campus stakeholders, including employees, emeriti, current students and alumni.
