The Potsdam College Foundation Board of Trustees named two accomplished and dedicated SUNY Potsdam alumni as new trustees at the board’s fall meeting. Trustees welcomed Eldon Harris ’05 and Aaron Sanders ’02 as their newest colleagues, as they work collectively to foster giving in support of their alma mater.

Faculty, Students and Alumni from SUNY Potsdam’s Department of Mathematics Attend Statewide Education Conference

As we are aware, areas across New York State are being impacted by a severe winter storm. Although the North Folk College Express buses have already departed and are en route to Potsdam, we understand that some students are not able to make it back to Potsdam due to travel cancellations caused by the winter storm.

The Potsdam College Foundation Board of Trustees selected new leadership and welcomed a new member at its fall meeting. Trustees elected Amy Kellogg ’99 of Albany, N.Y., as president, and Ron Fishbeck ’80 of Aroda, Va., as vice president.

The Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence recognizes model students who have integrated academic excellence with other aspects of their lives, to include leadership, athletics, community service, creative and performing arts, entrepreneurship, or career achievement.  These students may have already received recognition from local, state, national or international organizations, and we would like you to include that information in the nomination process.   

SUNY Potsdam will resume final exams at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, December 11, following our previous two-hour delay.Faculty will be reaching out to students who had 8 a.m. exams that were postponed, with further instructions. All other campus operations can resume as normal.To check on the status of specific events and activities, please contact campus departments directly.Please use caution in these wintry conditions.
