A Far Cry’s latest album, “Visions and Variations,” was nominated for two awards in the 61st annual GRAMMYs, in the categories for best chamber music/small ensemble performance, and best engineered album, classical.

SUNY Potsdam’s Department of Art will host its annual Holiday Art Auction on Thursday, Dec. 4, in the Barrington Student Union lobby. The silent auction will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. All are welcome to come and bid on beautiful original artworks by faculty, staff, students and alumni – perfect for holiday gifts. Choose from paintings, prints, ceramics and jewelry. Winners will be announced at 4 p.m.

SUNY Potsdam Campus Food Pantry Now Partnering with Food Bank of Central New York
SUNY Potsdam’s Campus Food Pantry has been accepted as a partner agency by the Food Bank of Central New York, which distributes food to individuals and families in need by partnering with local agencies across 11 counties. Now in operation for nearly 13 years, the SUNY Potsdam Campus Food Pantry is supported by the Department of Public Health and Human Performance. Students who are experiencing food insecurity are welcome to stop by and take what they need from its office in Dunn Hall.
