Jeanne Kimmich Roberts ’80

Few sounds are more jarring than the blare of a fire alarm in Bowman Hall at 3 a.m. Jeanne Kimmich Roberts ’80 remembers the sound well. As a freshman at SUNY Potsdam, she often found herself trudging down the six flights of stairs half-asleep, only to learn it was a prank. While frustrating in the moment, memories like these only add to Jeanne’s fondness for her alma mater.

Field House RenovationParking Lot 29 will be closed and fenced off beginning May 1, 2025 for the Field House renovation. The other lots will remain open and access will still be available through the entrance marked with a star on this map (PDF).Maxcy Hall ConstructionDemolition to the slate floor and ceilings will begin Wednesday, June 25.  Access to the pool will be through the pool locker rooms.
