Crane School of Music Faculty Present Lecture-Recital Honoring Schubert & Beethoven on Feb. 4
SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music invites the public to enjoy “Transitions,” a faculty lecture-recital led by pianist Gary Busch, in collaboration with members of the vocal, string and wind faculties. The free performance will be offered on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m., in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater. The presentation celebrates Franz Schubert’s birthday and the start of Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th birth year, and will feature chamber music works by both composers.

Chancellor Malatras Visits SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Canton Pre-Semester Testing as Campuses Reopen
State University Chancellor Jim Malatras made his first visits today to SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam to meet with President Zvi Szafran and President Kristin Esterberg, as pre-semester testing takes place on the respective campuses for all students. Both SUNY campuses have moved to weekly testing of all students, faculty, and staff in alignment with SUNY policy to do so during the spring semester. Spring classes will begin for both campuses on Monday, Feb.
