March 27, 2020      Dear students, We want you to know that we are working quickly to resolve the financial impact this transition to remote learning will have on a student’s unused campus housing, meals and fees for the remainder of the spring semester while taking into account students’ financial aid awards.

SUNY Potsdam announced today in a message to graduating students that the College must postpone its 2020 Commencement Ceremony, which had been scheduled for Saturday, May 23, in the Academic Quad. Due to the new state and federal restrictions on non-essential travel and social distancing guidelines, SUNY Potsdam must postpone the traditional Commencement ceremony until the event is safe to hold.

The SUNY Potsdam Department of Theatre and Dance will present “The Two Worlds Project,” a verbatim documentary play that explores the urban-rural divide in New York State, on May 9 and 10. 

Please join the Days of Reflection: Education for Racial Equity and Justice presenters on April 1 - 4 in the Knowles MPR.  Days of Reflection events focus on race, ethnicity, and culture in order to help our campus move towards greater racial equity and justice.

The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its final meeting of the 2021-22 academic year on Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m. This will be a hybrid meeting, with College Council members attending in person and others joining virtually via Zoom.
