SUNY Potsdam Honors Class of 2021 at Commencement

SUNY Potsdam honored its Class of 2021 graduates far and near with a series of three socially-distanced ceremonies in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall at The Crane School of Music today—the first time that the hall has seen such numbers of people in more than a year. Filled (if not to capacity, in spirit at least) with graduating seniors delighted to be together for this milestone, the space resounded with song, cheers, laughter and even some tears.

SUNY Potsdam Employees Honored with Chancellor’s & President’s Awards

SUNY Potsdam recently honored dedicated faculty and staff members with Chancellor’s Awards and President’s Awards at the College’s annual Employee Recognition Ceremony, which also recognizes major milestones and retirements. This year, four employees received Chancellor’s Awards, while another nine were honored with President’s Awards.

SUNY Potsdam Honors 29 College Retirees

SUNY Potsdam honored 29 longtime employees upon their retirements during the College’s annual employee recognition and awards ceremony last week. Together, the faculty and staff members had collectively dedicated an incredible 790 years of service to the institution.

Overnight Camp Medical Support Personnel Vacancy

The College is accepting on-line applications for Overnight Camp Medical Support Personnel.  Medical staff shall be on-site to respond to medical emergencies and assist the Camp Health Director in all medical aspects of SUNY Potsdam’s academic overnight summer camp programs (Crane Youth Music 6/30/19 – 7/13/19 and NCSTEP 7/7/19 – 7/12/19).

SUNY Potsdam Celebrates Class of 2020 with Virtual Ceremony to Mark 200th Commencement

SUNY Potsdam recognized the achievements of nearly 900 graduates in the College’s 200th Commencement on Saturday, May 23. The virtual ceremony and accompanying watch party was filled with joyful comments and tributes, as graduates, families, students, faculty, staff and alumni shared their memories and congratulated the Class of 2020.
