The Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 requires educational institutions to make certain disclosures to students using federal military and/or VA educational benefits. The SUNY Financial Aid Plan (FAP) will provide a more in-depth analysis and accurate picture of student cost once the student has filed their FAFSA, completed a SUNY application, and has been accepted by a campus.

Mr. Gerrish schedules appointments for Watertown students via TEAMS and ZOOM. He conducts in- person support by appointment at the SUNY Potsdam offices located in the Higher Education Center on the SUNY Jefferson Campus

Lt. Col. (Ret.) Jeffrey Gerrish
Lt. Col. (Ret.) Jeffrey Gerrish is SUNY Potsdam’s coordinator for military, veteran and adult learners. He brings a wealth of both military and educational experience to the position, after 29 years in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard, and a career as a high school guidance counselor and assistant principal.
