Step 1: Go to our applicant portal
Within 24-48 hours of submitting your application, you can log into your student portal to check on the status of your application. While on your portal, you can see which application items are missing from your application, upload relevant documents and verify your mailing address.
Step 2: Accessing Your Portal
If you are logging in for the first time, please use the email address that you used to apply. An email has been sent to you under the subject "Your SUNY Potsdam Application Portal Access" with a temporary PIN and instructions that you can use to sign in. If you did not receive the email, click "Forgot Your Password?" and enter your email address to be emailed a new PIN.
If you still cannot find this email, please call the Undergraduate Admissions Office at (315) 267-2180. Graduate students please call (315) 267-2165 for assistance.
If you are a returning user, please use your email address and password from your initial login.
Once your application is complete, you will be notified of your admission decision in your portal, which you should check often for important updates. You will also be able to accept the offer of admission by completing your Intent to Enroll form. In addition, you will be able to pay the enrollment deposit through the portal.
