Course Review & Approval
College in High School (CHS) is a program with high schools (mostly local high schools) where SUNY Potsdam grants college credit to students who complete advanced coursework in their high school classes.
Information for Counselors & Administrators
College in High School RepresentativeTo facilitate communication between SUNY Potsdam and participating high school instructors and students, we ask that each school identify one primary CHS representative. We recommend that this person be a staff member from the Guidance Office to assist with providing transcripts, enrollment/graduation verification, etc.
Course Approval Process
College in High School Course Approval ProcessEach high school should select a primary contact person (typically a staff member from Guidance) who will work directly with the College in High School Coordinator. This liaison and the CHS coordinator will confirm all information associated with each course being offered at their location.
