Bringing The Quad to Their Screens
Each year, the Office of Campus Life offers SUNY Potsdam students a wide array of programming to help them feel at home, make new friends, grow as leaders and enjoy their college experience. During the pandemic, however, the Campus Life team was tasked with a complex predicament: How do you engage students in campus life when they are isolating in their dorm rooms or living miles away at home? The necessary solution was to go virtual, and their efforts were successful due to a combination of their team’s tremendous dedication and their programs’ donors and endowed funds.
IE&P Scholarships
Each year, the IE&P office seeks applicants for two scholarships. The IE&P office emails international students in the spring semester when the award applications are available.
Undergraduate Education Advising
Each year the Teacher Education Undergraduate Advising Office works with hundreds of students to answer questions concerning teacher certification programs and assist with their efforts to achieve educational success.
Alumni Association Awards
Each year, the Alumni Association honors several alumni and friends with awards during Reunion. View the Alumni Association Award qualifications below. The nomination deadline is December 1. Please note all supporting documents must also be received by this deadline.

About
In the early 1970s SUNY Potsdam established the Reading Center in Satterlee Hall. The purpose of the center was to match college students' needs for experience with elementary students' reading needs. The program was informally named the Reading Clinic. Many students from northern New York benefited from this program for more than 20 years.
