SUNY Potsdam is proud to offer the College in High School "CHS" Program for area high schools and their students. Through the CHS Program participating high schools partner with Early College Programs to award college credit for the successful completion of approved courses offered by the participating high school. Permanent Art Collection

SUNY Potsdam has a 100-year tradition of acquiring high-quality art for the benefit of the campus community and surrounding region. The Permanent Art Collection at SUNY Potsdam showcases primarily Modern and Contemporary Art. Strengths of the Collection include mid-20th Century Japanese and Italian art and a large collection of 20th century prints from around the world.  The Collection is owned by the Potsdam College Foundation, which stewards this special resource. Work from the Collection has frequently traveled to major institutions across the United States.

HEERF II / CRRSA Act Information

SUNY Potsdam received Student Aid funding under the CRRSAA section 314(a)(1) program. This program, with some changes, provides supplemental funds to the CARES Act section 18004(a)(1) program. SUNY Potsdam signed and returned to the Education Department a Certification and Agreement as required under the CARES Act section 18004 (a)(1) program.

SUNY Potsdam awards over $3,000,000 in scholarships annually to incoming and returning students. The majority of these awards are provided through the generosity of the alumni and friends of the College who wish to help students achieve their potential. To ensure fairness among applicants and recipients and comply with donors’ wishes, SUNY Potsdam has established the following policies. By accepting an award, students agree to comply with these policies.

Guaranteed National Guard Admission Program

SUNY Potsdam and the New York National Guard have joined forces to offer a mutually beneficial recruitment program that allows prospective students/soldiers the ability to enlist in the Army National Guard and be guaranteed admission into SUNY Potsdam upon completion of their initial entry training.
