Breaking the Mold
To better meet the needs of their students, two professors have blazed a new path at SUNY Potsdam—creating a visually compelling open education resource (OER) textbook for their geology students.
Our Campus
No Better PlaceWith our small class sizes, friendly community, rigorous academic programs, top-rated arts environment and a full range of applied learning opportunities, SUNY Potsdam is a great place to make your own path. Our campus is a little out of the way, but, honestly, we like it that way.
Travel Course to Finland
Between SUNY Potsdam’s study abroad trips and travel courses, there’s no shortage of opportunities to learn about other cultures. The College’s inaugural travel course to Finland and Sweden is a prime example. Offered through the teacher education program, students recently embarked on a journey to Northern Europe with the goal of examining different education systems and comparing them to the education system here in the U.S.
