The College Store will be having various items for sale on Tuesday, Dec. 13 & Wednesday, Dec. 14 between 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. There will be clothing, memorabilia, gifts, supplies and final clearance items. Along with $7 mystery grab bag sale. All while supplies last! Please bring faculty/staff ID.

The Holiday Art Auction is sponsored by Kappa Pi Art Honor Society and Student Art Association and will be held Thursday, Dec. 8 in the Multipurpose Room in Barrington Student Union. Preview will be at 4 p.m. and the auction begins at 5 p.m. There will be snacks and cash bar available.

PACES Hours All Dining Service locations will close after student meal plans end on Saturday, Dec. 17. Becky’s Place will reopen on Monday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m.

Three SUNY Potsdam Department of Environmental Studies faculty members have published a new textbook to introduce college students to their growing field. 

The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its second meeting of the 2020-21 academic year on Friday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m., via Zoom. The meeting will stream live online here, and the public is invited to watch and comment.

The Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games torch relay celebration arrived in Potsdam and Canton today, as part of 15-stop tour. The relay, which is powered by Hydro-Quebec, involved everyone from schoolchildren to university athletes, along with notable officials and community members.  

Decked out in his Potsdam Bears sweatsuit and unlaced Nike kicks, Colton Huestis ’24 crouches over to speak with a group of fourth graders lined up for a shooting drill at Lawrence Avenue Elementary School—part of a unique basketball clinic led by the men’s basketball team for more than 100 elementary students from six different classrooms at the local school.
