President’s ClubThe President's Club is a distinctive giving society that recognizes alumni and friends who give $1,000 or more during the fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Members of this leadership giving group are creating tremendous opportunities for current students.President’s Club members enjoy the following benefits and recognition:
New Budget Approval Process
The President's Council has a new budget approval process as of 8/31/14. The process is as follows: All budget requests (purchases, travel, Central Printing recharges etc.) of $200 or more are still required to have a President's Council member's signature from that division. Pcard holders have a $200 per transaction limit and

Mission Statement
The President’s Office and entire executive team provide leadership for the campus, supporting faculty and staff in campus-wide efforts aligned with the college mission, with the primary goal of ensuring student success. The President’s Office enhances the reputation of the campus within SUNY, the region, NY State, and beyond.
Presidential Scholars Program
The Presidential Scholars Program empowers motivated and talented SUNY Potsdam students to create their own independent projects in service of their academic and career goals.Students selected for the competitive program are required to draft an educational plan and complete a project with the guidance of dedicated faculty mentors. Generous funding from program donors supports the completion of student projects.
Presidential Internship Program (PIP)
Presidential Internship Program (PIP)The Presidential Internship Program (PIP) launches in Summer 2025! This competitive, funded internship program represents a new tier of internship experiences for a select cohort of SUNY Potsdam students (18 students will be chosen for the PIP). The Lougheed Center for Applied Learning will cover 6 internship credits and award a $4,000 stipend for every student in the PIP cohort.
