Course Syllabus Statement Options
Vetted by SUNY Legal and approved by the Faculty Senate in the fall 2025 , SUNY Potsdam now features a standardized syllabus statement. Using this required language ensures all students have equal access to the same vital information. It’s a small change that makes a huge impact on campus equity and clarity.

Confidential Resources
Victims and/or complainants that are not sure whether they are ready to, or want to, formally report, should contact the Personal Counseling Center or the Davis Health Center, as they are not required to file a report. They can maintain confidentiality for the victim/complainant.

View achievements SUNY Potsdam uses Merit to share student achievement announcements with the campus community and with media outlets across the country. All student achievements can be easily shared on social media, and may also go to hometown media, local government officials and high schools.
