B.A./B.F.A.: Graphic Design & New Media
The BA/BFA adhere to the College’s strong general education in the liberal arts while offering increased breadth and depth in graphic design and media arts.
Minor: Graphic Design and New Media
The Graphic Design and New Media minor offers students a concentrated experience in graphic and printed design, time-based design, typography, interactive media, digital illustration and imaging, video, as well as sound and motion graphics.
B.A.: History
In the history department, students explore human experience in a wide variety of times, geographical settings and cultural contexts.
Minor: History
Guided by a faculty steeped in scholarly research and committed to excellence in the classroom, history minors develop essential skills in critical reading, writing, speaking and thinking.
Minor: Human Services
The Human Services minor provides an opportunity for students to develop a critical understanding of the human services area .
Advanced Certificate: Inclusive and Special Education
The Advanced Certificate: Inclusive and Special Education (Non-Cert.) provides a sequenced program of study that complements the knowledge, competencies, and dispositions of certified and experienced teachers in effectively addressing the needs of students with mild to moderate disabilities.
M.S.: Instructional Design and Educational Technology
The M.S. in Instructional Design and Educational Technology (IDET) is a fully online 30 credit-hour graduate program offered through the Department of Business Administration. Courses in this program emphasize the creation and management of highly engaging in-person and online learning environments.
B.A.: Interdisciplinary Studies
The B.A. Student-Initiated Interdepartmental Major exists to meet the needs of undergraduate students whose intellectual curiosity and career aspirations will not be best served simply by completing existing major and minor offerings.
B.A.: International Studies
International studies is an interdisciplinary social science major that combines course work from politics and economics and enriches the course work with a history foundation.
Minor: International Studies
The International studies minor provides students with a deep understanding of historical foundations of the international sphere and gives them a chance to analyze the global context through anthropological, economic, and political lenses.
Minor: Jazz Studies
The Jazz Studies minor is open to all students in music degree programs.In special circumstances, students outside The Crane School of Music may be accepted for study; an entrance examination demonstrating sufficient performance and theoretical skills must be passed by potential candidates outside of The Crane School of Music.
Minor: Journalism
Students with background in journalism are prepared for careers in all areas of the news industries, from newspapers and magazines, to radio, television, and the web.
Minor: Language and Linguistics
Depending upon what other experiences a student might have, studies in linguistics can lead to careers in journalism, artificial intelligence, software development, teaching second language acquisition, translation, and law.
Minor: Latinx & Latin American Studies
The Latinx & Latin American Studies minor serves as an introduction to both the  Latin American Studies and the Latinx Studies fields. The minor emphasizes the study of cultures and history generated in Latin America and of  Hispanic/Latinx heritage in the USA.
MSED: Literacy
The Literacy program has been designed to meet teaching certification requirements as a literacy specialist and satisfies professional certification requirements for New York State. The program offers opportunities for paid internships and local student teaching experiences that complement students initial certification area.
