B.M.: Music Education
The Crane School of Music boasts one of the world's oldest and largest music teacher preparation programs.
M.M.: Music Education
The Master of Music in Music Education program is The Crane School of Music boasts one of the world's oldest and largest music teacher preparation programs. In fact, over half of Crane graduates are music educators in the state of New York.
B.M.: Music Performance
The Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance is offered in percussion, piano, string instruments (including guitar and harp), wind instruments and voice.
B.M.: Musical Studies - Composition
There are two tracks within the Musical Studies major: Composition and Music Theory/ History.
B.M.: Musical Studies - Music Theory or Music History
The Musical Studies – Music Theory and Music History degree tracks allow students to focus on the scholarly study of music.
Minor: Musical Theatre
The Musical Theatre minor may be pursued by students who have declared a major in music, theatre, or dance. Students in those majors will follow the track within the minor which is designated for their major.
Minor: Native American Studies
The study of the indigenous peoples of the Americas -their prehistory, history and cultures- is the focus of the courses offered.
Minor: Nutrition
The Nutrition Minor provides students with a basic foundation in community health and an overview of health behaviors, as well as an in-depth examination of nutrition.
Minor: Philosophy
The philosophy minor allows students majoring in other disciplines to deepen their understanding of their primary course of study in regard to its philosophical foundations, its methodology, and its normative assumptions and implications.

The physics minor is designed to develop competence in fundamental areas of classical and modern physics.

Minor: Pre-Creative Arts Therapy
The Pre-Creative Arts Therapy minor allows students to explore the creative arts—everything from dance and theatre to studio art and poetry—while majoring in other disciplines.
Minor: Pre-Law Studies
The Pre-Law Minor is a great supplement to any major because it provides students with the facts, theories, and skills they will need to get into law school, to succeed in law school, and to thrive in the legal profession.
Minor: Psychology
The minor in psychology provides a general introduction to all major areas of psychology with courses in research methodology used in the field, experimental and laboratory aspects of the field, and a course that focuses on the social, developmental or applied aspects of the field of psychology.
