COVID-19 Update: As cases continue to rise, we need our Bears to do their part
February 19, 2021 Dear Colleagues, This week’s surveillance testing and individual testing through Student Health Services resulted in an additional 19 positives, bringing our total active positive number to 41. A majority of these cases are off-campus students, and the rate of increase is concerning. There was one positive employee case identified through surveillance testing this week.

SUNY Potsdam Hosts Faculty Dance Concert, with Works by 4 Choreographers
The SUNY Potsdam Department of Theatre and Dance is proud to present the Faculty Dance Concert 2022, featuring works by four choreographers performed by talented students. Performances will be offered from Thursday, Feb. 24, to Saturday, Feb. 26, with daily shows at 7:30 p.m., ending the run with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27.

SUNY Potsdam Alert: Tragedy Updates
February 19, 2022, 9:30 p.m. New York State Police have made an arrest following their investigation of last night’s murder of SUNY Potsdam student Elizabeth Howell ’22. State Police have charged Michael J. Snow, 31, of Massena, N.Y., with one count of murder in the second degree. He was arraigned in Potsdam Town Court and was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail, with no bail.
