Weekly COVID Update
March 12, 2021 Hello Students!! It is time for another weekly update and like last week, I am pleased to announce that we only had one positive student pool from testing earlier this week. Unfortunately, that one positive case has resulted in over a dozen additional students needing to be placed into quarantine, but the results continue to be encouraging.
SUNY Potsdam State Vaccination Site Approaches 45,000 Shots
The North Country healthcare heroes working day and night at the New York State vaccination site based in SUNY Potsdam’s Maxcy Hall Fieldhouse are now approaching 45,000 shots administered, in the ongoing fight against COVID-19.
SUNY Potsdam Welcomes Zoe Cushman Walders ’16 for Dance Concert Featuring New & Original Works
The SUNY Potsdam Department of Theatre and Dance and the New York State DanceForce will proudly present an upcoming dance concert of choreographic works by Zoe Cushman Walders ’16. SUNY Potsdam’s Department of Theatre & Dance is proud to host the critically acclaimed Aquila Theatre company as they present “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare. This free, one night only performance will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Proscenium Theater—located inside SUNY Potsdam’s Performing Arts Center.
Program Coordinator Vacancy for Department of Elementary Education
Department of Elementary Education, part of the School of Education and Professional Studies, is accepting on-line applications for a full-time, tenure-track program coordinator to support offerings of their full-time Childhood/ Early Childhood Education program (Birth-6th) at the Jefferson Community College location in Watertown, NY. As a program coordinator, the position is a ten-month employment; it is likely that additional summer duties will also be expected. The applicant will have a leading role in the full implementation of this program.
