How to Apply

The EOP Summer Internship Application for Summer 2026 will open April 15, 2026 and will close May 4, 2026.

The SUNY initiative was built specifically to make sure EOP students have equal access to the kind of experiential learning that changes careers. You'll complete an internship for credit, have expenses like tuition and wages paid for, and build the experience that employers are looking for!

The SUNY Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) High-Impact Practices (HIPs) Scale-Up Initiative is part of a systemwide effort to close the equity gap in paid internship access and experiential learning opportunities for EOP students. SUNY is committed to the goal that every EOP student will complete a paid internship or other high-quality experiential learning opportunity beginning with the Fall 2025 cohort, prior to graduation.
