The University Police Department at SUNY Potsdam is an accredited Police Department. This is achieved by demonstrating a high level of excellence and professionalism in the field of law enforcement by meeting the standards established by the NYS Law Enforcement Agency Accreditation Council. The University Police Department at SUNY Potsdam was awarded a Certificate of Accreditation for September 2026 through June 2031.
