Campus community members test positive for COVID-19

Dear members of the SUNY Potsdam Community, SUNY Potsdam’s Student Health Services has been notified that five of the College’s residential students have confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Dear Residential Students, We have appreciated your patience while you wait to retrieve your remaining belongings. Please understand that while some areas of New York State are reopening, many restrictions are still in place statewide and in St. Lawrence County. While we will soon be able to start allowing students to come to campus to retrieve belongings, we continue to require your cooperation.

Dear students, We want you to know that we are processing refunds to students for housing fees and meal plan fees if applicable, minus any housing scholarships or partial bed waivers. COVID-19 Update: As cases continue to rise, we need our Bears to do their part

Dear Students, This week’s surveillance testing and individual testing through Student Health Services resulted in an additional 19 positives, bringing our total active positive number to 41. A majority of these cases are off-campus students, and the rate of increase is alarming.
