To reopen our campuses to in-person instruction and services during a pandemic required adapting, and we fully recognize that this semester for many of you required some adjustments, most notably on the mode of instruction. As the semester begins to wind down, please know that we are committed and working tirelessly to ensure that your health and safety remains our top priority.

SUNY Potsdam Esports Club Raises Funds for Children’s Miracle Network
In a year where so much has changed, the students on SUNY Potsdam’s Esports Club have been able to keep competing and supporting each other through it all—and now they have added supporting a great cause to that list of achievements. The group recently held an Extra Life fundraiser to benefit local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, with four players streaming for 12 hours total, as they chatted and took part in games of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and online chess.

November 17, 2021 Dear students: Whether you are staying local or going away to enjoy the Thanksgiving Break, we hope that you can take some time for rest and reflection. As we approach the end of the semester, it is so important to… Take care of yourself, physically. Stay healthy. Wear a mask in public spaces and while traveling. Get tested when you return to campus. This will be required for all students and employees on Monday, Nov. 29.

Frederick W. Crumb Memorial Library Dr. Frederick W. Crumb was the eighth, and longest-serving, president of the institution known today as The State University of New York at Potsdam. He joined Potsdam State Teachers College in 1946, which became part of the new SUNY System upon its founding two years later, and Dr. Crumb oversaw the construction of the new campus on Pierrepont Avenue.
