Academic/Student Resources

Academic Procedures & Policies

The Office of Accommodative Services does not provide tutoring directly. Instead students are encouraged to use campus resources to find the help that best suits them.

  • Group Tutoring
You will be tutored by an undergraduate student who has taken the course or is majoring in the subject. All tutors must have at least a 3.0 gpa and a 3.3 in the class that they are tutoring. Groups are formed when 3 or more students request a tutor.
  • TRIO
As a registered student with Accommodative Services you are eligible for this service. They can help you with an array of needs including study skills, time management, 1 to 1 tutoring and FASFA. Apply to TRIO
  • Writers Block
If you need help with writing at any stage the Writers Block can help you. From organizing your thoughts, to making sure you have cited your sources correctly they are here to help.
  • Math Lab
The math lab is centered around providing extra help for students currently enrolled in lower division math courses. Help is available for Math 100, Math 101, Math 102, Math 110, Math 125, Math 141, Math 142, Math 151, Math 152, and Math 253.

Adult Career and Continuing Education Services - Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) offers eligible individuals with disabilities help in preparing for, finding, and keeping suitable employment consistent with their strengths, abilities, and interests. If your employment objective requires college training, ACCES-VR can provide tuition assistance, fees, books and required materials, partial room and board and related supports for consumers who meet eligibility based on their economic need. ACCES-VR consumers must establish an individualized plan for employment (IPE) with an employment objective requiring college training to qualify for ACCES-VR assistance.
